As a name, Beneath the Roses originates from the Latin phrase sub rosa, which has been used since ancient times to denote matters of secrecy.

However, Beneath the Roses is more than just a name.  To us it is also an idiom that represents the deepest secrets that lie hidden beneath things seemingly immaculate.

Our darkest side we try to conceal behind our most beautiful masks.

At Beneath the Roses we hope to create jewellery that not only has depth in symbolic meaning and character, but is also rich and layered in quality, finish and texture.

Every piece we make is hand made and finished individually.

We also want our jewellery to be accessible to all who can relate to what we represent, irrespective of age, sex or personal wealth.

Beneath the Roses is the creation of designer Arthur Sikiotis, whose work has featured in numerous publications including Dazed & Confused, Harpers Bazaar, ID, Nylon, Vice and Vogue to name but a few.

His creations have been worn by Rihanna, Tricky, Mickey Avalon, Ed Banger and members of The Kings of Leon, Daft Punk, The Prodigy, The Gossip, The Dandy Warhols, The Presets, Wolfmother, The Vines, Band of Horses, Sigur Ros, Spank Rock and also by punters around the world.
